Others

• Observation Hours: Applicants must complete at least 100 hours of observation in a dental practice setting and/or dental laboratory. The majority of shadowing in a dental practice setting should be done with a general dentist.

  • 1. A letter from a dentist.
  • 2. A recommendation mailed directly from your institution's Pre-professional Advisory Committee is preferred. In lieu of a committee recommendation, two letters of recommendation from science instructors are acceptable.
• DAT Scores - Designate our dental school to receive your test scores

Interview

• The full Admissions Committee meets in November to consider applicants who have been interviewed and to make initial selections for the entering class. The Committee may meet again in January to make further selections to fill the entering class if necessary.

Timeline

• October 1st: Deadline for application.
• November – January Interview period
• Decision would not be released before Dec. 1st.
