Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: minimum 3 years of undergraduate study or a baccalaureate degree (B.A or B.Sc encouraged)
  • Required Courses (no more than 5 years old)
    • General Chemistry with laboratory (8 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry (lab not required) (8 credits)
    • General Biology (8 credits – 4 credits must be human anatomy or vertebrate zoology, with laboratory)
    • Physics (lab not required) (6 credits)
    • English (6 credits)
  • Recommended Courses
    • Biochemistry, molecular biology, statistics, business, writing skills, computer science, sculpture and art, social science, history, literature, economics, philosophy, and psychology

  • Class of 2012 average accepted GPA: 3.41 (science), 3.59 (non-science)
  • No minimum cut-off, but academic excellence is expected
