Program Information
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
- 5 years in length

Academic Requirements
- English language proficiency. The minimum level of proficiency is:
- GCSE English Language grade B or above
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English grade B or above
- International English language Testing (IELTS) score of 7.0, with not less than 6.5 in any one component
- Other entry requirements (e.g. graduates with a bachelor's degree): minimum upper second class (~CGPA of 3.3)

Supporting Documents
- Personal Statement: address reasons for choosing dentistry, work experience, team and leadership experience, and manual dexterity.
- School/College reference
- UKCAT (Does not have a cut-off score)
- Considering quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, decision analysis, and abstract reasoning
- Health screening
- Satisfactory evidence on non-infectivity with respect to the blood-borne viruses HIV and Hepatitis B and C
- Pass a screen health screening in Student Occupational Health
- All potential students have to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Portfolio Requirements
- Applicants are expected to have worked at a dentistry workplace for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Interview
- Take place in the School of Dentistry, and normally combined with a tour of the School with a dental student
- Not a test of academic knowledge
