Program Information

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

Academic Requirements

  • English language proficiency: minimum scores in GCSE English Language, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, or International English Language Testing
  • A level: Grades AAB (including chemistry, biology at grade A)

  • GCSE: Five GCSE with minimum grade A
  • International Baccalaurete: overall 34 points
  • Personal Statement: address reasons for choosing dentistry, work experience, team and leadership experience, and manual dexterity.

Upon successful acceptance, applicants are required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants are expected to have worked at a dentistry workplace for a minimum of 2 weeks.

  • £3,225 per annum for home/EU students (2009)
