- Every applicant must take the Dental Admission Test
- An applicant should try to achieve competitive scores of 20 or higher in each section
- DAT scores older than two years from the time of the test are not acceptable

Supporting Documents
- Letters of Recommendation -A composite letter of recommendation is required if the applicant's university has a preprofessional advisory committee. If no such committee exists, a minimum of two letters are required from the science faculty, by whom the applicant has been instructed, within non-plant or non-environmental disciplines of Biology, Chemistry or Physics. All prospective applicants are encouraged to spend time in a dental office and are also required to provide a letter of recommendation from a dentist that also attests to the applicant
