Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum 2 years of undergraduate study at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university (students are encouraged to obtain a Bachelor's degree prior to enrollment)
  • Required Courses
    • One year (two semesters) of English including composition
    • One year (two semesters) of general chemistry including laboratory
    • One year (two semesters) of organic chemistry including laboratory
    • One year (two semesters) of general biology with laboratory
    • One year (two semesters) of general physics with laboratory
  • Experience in Dentistry
    • Applicants are encouraged to have a minimum of 100 hours of experience in clinical dentistry.

DAT

  • Mean scores 2009:
    • Academic: 19.53
    • PAT: 19.71
    • Reading Comprehension: 21.15
  • DAT must be written within 2 years from the year of application, and must be written no later than the Nov 1 prior to the application deadline.
