Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline)
  • Required Courses
    • General/Introductory Biology with laboratory (6 credits)
    • General/Introductory Chemistry with laboratory (6 credits)
    • General/Introductory Physics with laboratory (6 credits)
    • Introductory Organic Chemistry with laboratory (3 credits)
  • Recommended Courses
    • Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology

  • Competitive GPA: 3.5 (4.0 scale) cGPA
  • Competitive GPA in prerequisite courses are also important

DAT

  • DAT must have been written within 3 years of application deadline
  • Applicants from U.S. should take the American Dental Association Admission Test
  • Must complete DAT before Fall of the year of application

  • November 15: Out-of-province applications deadline
  • January 15: Quebec residents application deadline (4 year program)
  • March 1: Dent-P applications deadline (5 year program)
  • End-Feb: interviews will be held
  • March 31: Out-of-province application results
  • May 1: Quebec residents application results
  • may 15: decision about Dent-P program

Late applications will not receive consideration for entrance scholarships
