  • Degree: A minimum of 90 credits at an accredited American institution or its equivalent (Preferred minimum is 120 credits)

  • No minimum cut-off scores, but the entering class of 2015 mean: 23
  • The DAT cannot be waived by taking the MCAT or otherwise.

Supporting Documents

  • An application to the College of Dental Medicine is available through the Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS) here
  • A certified copy of Dental Admissions Test (DAT) scores
  • Three CONFIDENTIAL letters of recommendation from science professors or one composite letter from a pre-health committee
  • Official copies of academic transcripts (sent directly to AADSAS application service)
  • Supplemental application fee 75$

Timeline

  • June 1: applications can be submitted through the AADSAS
  • August: Invitations for interviews start
  • September: Interviews begin
  • No specific time for interviews- these are conducted on Fridays on a rolling basis
  • December 31st: AADSAS application deadline
  • All materials should be submitted by the second week of January of the appliation year, but it is recommended that documents be sent as early as possible, as applications are considered on a rolling basis
