• Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study in Canada (any discipline)
• Required Courses
  • Life Sciences (12 credits)
  • Social Sciences, Humanities or Languages (6 credits)
• Recommended Courses
  • Statistics (3 credits)
  • Courses that required expository writing (12 credits)

GPA

• Minimum: 3.6 (4.0 scale)
• Average accepted GPA 2008: 3.89
• Calculation method:
  • GPA will be calculated by eliminating one full-course grade per full year of study.
  • If applying after three years of full-time study, the 3 lowest grades will be removed.
  • If applying after completion of four years of full-time study, the 4 lowest grades will be removed
  • Summer courses are not included in GPA calculation, though they may count towards prerequisites

• Interviews are conducted at the Faculty of Medicine by a member of the Faculty and a current medical student

• December 2010-July 2011: Admission decisions are sent all throughout this period

• Jun. 30, 2011: Deadline to submit the Health History and Physical Examination Report to the Student Health Services
• Jul. 9, 2011: Deadline for new students to pay tuition fees
