Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Minimum 4 years of college study (96 semester or 144 quarter credit hours) from an accredited school with Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Dental prerequisites must be completed in the U.S. or Canada
- Required Courses (grade of C required to meet standards)
- General Biology with lab: 2 semesters
- General Chemistry with lab: 2 semesters
- Organic Chemistry with lab: 2 semesters
- Biochemistry: 1 semester
- General Physics with lab: 2 semesters

- Dental Admission Test completed within 2 years of admission
- A minimum of 20 hours of dental practice observation/shadowing
- Three letters of reference including:
- Spiritual leader, Science professor, pre–professional committee, or Employer
- Supplementary Application (emailed once AADSAS Application is received)
- A formal interview (by invitation only)
- Minimum of 50 hours of dental practice observation/shadowing

- July 2017-February 2018: Receive and submit supplemental application
- December 2017-March 2018: Decisions are emailed and mailed to applicants
