Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum of 2 years of college but preference is shown to those who complete 4 years of college
  • Required Courses
    • General Biology or Zoology with Laboratory (8 credits)
    • General Chemistry or Inorganic Chemistry with Laboratory (8 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry with Laboratory (8 credits)
    • Physics with Laboratory (8 credits)
    • English Composition (6 credits)

    • Psychology
    • Microbiology
    • Biochemistry
    • Physiology

  • No minimum, but a minimum grade point average in science courses of 2.85 is recommended

  • Every applicant must take the Dental Admission Test
  • An applicant should try to achieve competitive scores of 20 or higher in each section
  • DAT scores older than two years from the time of the test are not acceptable
