Because facilities for pre-clinical and clinical instruction are limited, it is necessary to restrict enrolment to applicants who are best qualified to meet the mental and physical demands of the curriculum and most likely to successfully complete the full course of study. The presentation of the minimum admission requirements will not assure acceptance.
  • Only prerequisites taken within 10 years of application are deemed valid.
  • Candidates must complete at least two years of undergraduate study before application.

Criteria

To be competitive, applicants should have achieved an average of 80% or greater in two undergraduate level years by the end of the application cycle in which they are registered.

  • Applicants require:
    • one half laboratory course in Organic Chemistry
    • at least one half-course in Biochemistry
    • one full course (or equivalent) in Human or Mammalian Physiology
    • It is to their advantage to have successfully completed one full laboratory course in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
