Program Information
- Master of Engineering (M.Eng)
- Clinical Engineering specialization
- Eligible to become Registered Professional Engineers with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists
of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
- Master of Science (M.Sc)
- Involvement in a research/design project
- PhD
- Pursue advanced research in Biomedical Engineering
- Candidates must pass qualifying and comprehensive examinations
- Candidates must write a thesis based on an original investigation they perform
Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- M.Sc. and Ph.D. applicants require a degree in Engineering, a Natural Science, or a Life Science.
- M.Eng. applicants require an Engineering degree
- Masters applicants require a four year honours degree or equivalent
- Ph.D. applicants require a Master’s degree or equivalent
- A cumulative weighted average of at least 75% is expected in the last two years of study

Other Requiremnts
- Admission requires the demonstration of English Language Proficiency. Students whose native language is not English
must pass one of the following tests with minimum grade requirements:- TOEFL:
- Paper-based test: 550
- Computer-based test: 213
- MELAB: 85
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.5

Tuition 2009-2010
- Tuition is $1030 per term
- Thesis-based programs run three terms a year for a total of $3090 a year
- Project-based programs run four terms a year for a total of $4120 a year
- Student fees including optional health and dental insurance differ each semester
- Spring and Summer - $7.50
- Fall - $443.60
- Winter - $103.10
- For international students, an additional $100 is added per term only during the fall and winter terms.
