General Notes:

• Applicants must apply electronically and submit the form to LSAC. • No major is required or preferred, but candidates are encouraged to take courses involving writing, critical reading, and logical reasoning. • Approximately 170 students enroll each year. • Entire academic record, including SAT scores and GPA, are considered along with the other personal and biographical information. • Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended must be forwarded to LSAC, which will prepare and send the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) Report to Notre Dame. Criteria Required classes • Must hold or expect to hold a bachelor's degree prior to September of the entry year. GPA There are no minimum cut-offs for GPA.

Law School Admission Test (LSAT):

• All applicants must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). • There are no minimum cutoff scores for the LSAT. • The December LSAT score is the last score accepted for Regular Decision applicants. • An LSAT score is considered valid for no longer than 5 years. • If the SAT is taken more than once, the highest score will be reviewed.

• Applicants may start applying to the J.D. program on October 1st. • Early Decision Program deadline: November 1st. • Notification letters mailed to Early Decision applicants by December 15th. • Last LSAT date that meets Regular Admission deadline: December 6th. • Regular Admission application deadline: March 15th, 2009. • Notification letters mailed to accepted applicants on a rolling basis, usually six to eight weeks after the application is complete.

Tuition:

• Tuition for 2008-2009 is $37,650. • Room and board costs approximately $8,300 • Total estimated budget (including tuition, room and board, health insurance, books, etc.) is $53,900 for the school year.
