Program Information

  • University of Windsor changed its law degree designation from a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree to a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Three year program (or half-time option for six years)
  • Approximate number of applications: 1 900
  • Canadian & American Dual J.D. Program also available in cooperation with University of Detroit
  • Other joint degrees available

  • Minimum two years of undergraduate study following "senior matriculation"
  • Minimum three years of undergraduate study following "junior matriculation"
  • Work experience, community involvement, personal accomplishments, career objectives, LSAT scores and university undergraduate program are considered for admission

  • Average accepted GPA 2011-2012: 3.07

  • Tuition and compulsory fees
    • Canadian student: $7,927.29 CAD for one term
    • Visa student: $13,743.27 CAD for one term
