Admission Requirements
General Notes
- 80 applicants admitted yearly
- There are 3 categories for admission: Regular, Discretionary, Aboriginal
- The school has regional preference; there are a minimum number of offers reserved for residents of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.
Criteria
Required Classes
- A degree from a recognized university, or the equivalent of 3 years full-time academic study at a recognized university.

GPA
- Average re-calculated GPA of an admitted student is 3.7 (on a 4.3 scale)
- GPAs (4.3 scale) range from 3.1 to 4.3
- GPA is based on the applicant's entire university academic record, including post-first degree work
- Excluding the lowest 25% (for four or more years), or lowest 15% (for three years).

LSAT
- The average LSAT score of successful applicants is 158
- Scores range from 150 to 173
- Applicants must write the LSAT no later than February
- Applicants applying for a major scholarship must write no later than December.
