  • MSc program
    • Bachelor's degree in atmospheric science, physics, chemistry, mathematics/statistics, physical geography, physical oceanography, or environmental science/engineering
    • Minimum B+ average in third and fourth year courses or A- (80%) grade average in 12 credits of 3rd/4th years
  • PhD program
    • Masters degree or equivalent with clear evidence of research potential
    • First-class bachelor’s degree with 1 year of MSc studies may be accepted (research potential needed)
    • required to complete 12 credits with a first class average during their first year of study: at least 9 credits (500-level or above) and at least 9 credits must be of first class standing
    • Students lacking necessary undergraduate preparation may be admitted into a qualifying year program
    • Students with an overall A grade average in an honours bachelor’s degree may be accepted directly
