Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: BSc. in Physics, Astronomy, or Mathematics or a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Physics or Electrical Engineering

GPA
- Average GPA: 3.5 (80%)
- B+ average in third and fourth year-level course work, or at least 12 credits of third- or fourth-year courses in the A- grade range (at UBC 80% or higher) in the field of intended graduate study
- Direct transfer is available after completing 1 academic year in UBC’s Master’s program
