Admission Requirements
General Notes
- Language of instruction is exclusively French.
- A university degree is required for admission.
- Students accepted from all over Canada.
- 50 applicants accepted
Criteria
Required classes
- A minimum of 12 credits from a Quebec CEGEP are required.
- Applicants must have obtained a grade of C+ of greater in FRAN1913 (offered by the University of Moncton).
- If the applicant has not completed FRAN1913 at the University of Moncton they must complete a French placement test and obtain a grade of C+ or greater.

GPA
- A minimum average GPA of 2.8 (out of 4.3) over the applicant's last 3 years of university is required.
- A minimum average GPA of 3.5 (out of 4.3) is required for an applicant in their final year of their bachelor's degree.
- A minimum average GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.3) is required for an applicant applying to a joint degree.
- Joint degrees include: LL.B. and M.A.P. (law and public administration), LL.B. and M.B.A (law and business administration), LL.B. and M.E.P. (law and environmental studies).

LSAT
- Applicants are not required to complete the LSAT for admission.
- If the applicant has completed the LSAT they may submit their score. An exceptional score on the LSAT may help their chances of admission.
- Applicants who have not completed the LSAT, however, are at no disadvantage.

Supporting Documents
- Two letters of reference are required
- At least one must be from a professor who knows the applicant well
- A questionnaire from the Faculty of Law must be completed.
- A formal application form to the University of Moncton must be completed.
- One copy of the applicant's high school transcript and, if applicable, CEGEP transcript are required.
- Two official copies of the applicant's university transcript are required.

Deadlines
- Applications received prior to March 31 are given priority.
- Requests for financial aid must be submitted before the end of February.

Tuition
- Tuition and student fees for Canadian residents total approximately $6300.00. This includes tuition ($4735.00), fees and books.
- Lodging in student residences is available. Prices vary between $2075.00 to $4925.00 per year.
- A variety of entrance scholarships are available. Financial aid is also available to applicants who qualify.
