Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree from a Canadian University (or equivalent) prior to entering the law program
    • Students who have one year left before completing may apply, provided that they have a GPA of at least 3.5 (4.3 scale)

  • Minimum: 2.8 (4.3 scale)
    • Minimum of 3.5 for applicants applying with three years of study
  • GPA measured over last three years of study

LSAT

  • LSAT is not required, but if taken, marks may be submitted to the University
  • Excellent scores will work in the applicants favour, while applicant will not be penalized for poor or mediocre scores

Language Requirements

  • Applicants must show proficiency in French
  • Applicant must obtain a grade of at least C+ on the exam for the Moncton University course FRAN1913
  • In certain circumstances, applicant may be exempt from taking the exam
