• Applicants must apply electronically and submit the form to LSAC.
 
• Approximately 170 students enroll each year.
 
• Entire academic record, including SAT scores and GPA, are considered along with the other personal and biographical information.
 
• Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended must be forwarded to LSAC, which will prepare and send the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) Report to Stanford.
 
• In addition to the J.D. degree, Stanford Law offers 25 joint degrees, the Master of Laws (LLM) degree, the Stanford Program in International Legal Studies (SPILS), the Doctor of the Science of Law (JSD) degree, and the Master of Legal Studies (MLS) degree.

• There are no minimum cutoff scores for the LSAT.
 
• The December LSAT score is the last score accepted for Regular Decision applicants. 
 
• An LSAT score is considered valid for no longer than 5 years.

• Statement of Dean – official from applicant’s undergraduate university should send the completed form directly to the law school.
 
• Resume – 1-2 pages, describing academic, extracurricular, and professional activities.
 
• Personal statement – 2 pages, detailing important or unusual aspects of the application not apparent in the application.
 
• 2 letters of recommendation – academic letters are stressed.
