Each Graduate Supervisor must provide funding at a certain minimum for a period of 5 years, generally coming from the grants to the supervisor, scholarships and competitive awards directly to the student, or from a combination of both (income derived from Teaching Assistantships cannot be counted towards or used to achieve the minimum stipend).
