  • Graduate with an honours degree (or equivalent) in astronomy, physics, pure or applied mathematics, engineering, or engineering physics

  • GPA: 3.3 (B+) minimum

Oral Exam

  • 6 weeks before oral - submit thesis to Supervisory Committee
  • 4 weeks before oral - receive corrected thesis from Supervisory Committee
  • 3 weeks before oral - deadline for oral exam forms (obtain from the Program Office)
  • 3 weeks before oral - distribute hard copies of corrected thesis to Examining Committee.
  • week after oral - make corrections if applicant has a time constraint (ex. registration for another term, leaving country etc.)


Timeline

  • March 1: Application deadline (for fall term)
  • Sep 30: Application deadline (for Winter term)
  • Jan 30: Application deadline (for Summer term)
