Admission Requirements

General

• Apply online at http://www2.ulaval.ca/en/future-students/admission.html
• Students are only admitted to the program once they secure a position with a supervisor in writing.
• The department is fluent in English, so knowledge of the French language is not a requirement for admission

Academic Requirements

• cGPA: minimum 2.7 out of 4.33 (or equivalent)
• A B.Sc. from a recognized university in biology, health sciences, or a closely related field.

Financial Requirements

• Students must be supported a minimum of $12,000.

• Personal essay
• 3 letters of recommendation
• Outline of research project
• Copy of birth certificate
• Copy of transcript (cumulative)
• For non-Canadian applicants living in Canada: Original diploma(s) obtained, certified copy of the Quebec acceptance certificate, certified (by judge or notary) copy of Canadian immigration papers

Other

• The department is fluent in English, therefore fluency in French is not absolutely necessary for success in the program. The thesis may be written in English.

Deadlines 2012-2013

• For admission in the Fall semester, apply by February 1st
• For admission in the Winter semester, apply by November 1st
• For admission in the Summer semester, apply by April 1st
