Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Master’s Program
- Completed or about to complete: a four-year BSc program in relevant health sciences or an MD, DDS, DVM degrees
- Degree: Doctor’s Program
- Master’s degree or MD, DDS, DVM degrees are eligible
- or a highly-qualified four-year BSc graduates
- Recommended Courses:
- Molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and physiology

- Master’s Program
- Minimum GPA: 3.7 during the last two years of undergraduate study
- Doctor’s Program
- Minimum GPA: 3.7 for applicants with Master’s degree. 3.9 for applicants with an undergraduate degree during the last two years

- International students require GRE General and GRE Subject (Biochemistry)
- Minimum verbal – 576
- Minimum Quantitative reasoning – 732
- Minimum analytical writing – 5.2
- GRE subject test – 610
- Within last two-years
- TOEFL scores are required
- Minimum paper-based – 600 / TWE 5
- Minimum computer-based – 250
- Minimum internet-based – 100
- Waived if language of instruction is English
