Admissions Requirements

General

Academic Requirements

  • Recognized undergraduate degree in the life sciences, B.Sc., D.V.M., M.D., B.S.A, or B.S.P.
  • Required courses
    • biology
    • toxicology
    • chemistry
    • biochemistry
    • mammalian physiology
    • Courses in environmental chemistry, pathology and pharmacology are recommended.
  • Other Requirements
    • a working knowledge of statistical methods are necessary
  • GPA of 70% over the last two years of undergraduate study.


Financial Requirements

  • Students are expected to maintain sufficient financial support.
  • Students will not be officially accepted until a suitable supervisor with adequate research funding has been found.

  • $75 Application fee, once student is accepted for admission

Other

  • If your first language is not English, then language test scores must also be submitted.

Deadlines

  • Applications are accepted year-round for May and September entry, but scholarship decisions are made in April.
