- A four-year honours degree relevant to the proposed field of study.
- A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units).
- Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research.
- Ph.D. Degree
- A Master's degree relevant to the proposed field of study
- A student holding a Bachelor's degree cannot be admitted directly into a Ph.D. program
- A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% in the last two years of study (i.e. coursework required in Master's program).
- Demonstrated ability for independent thought, advanced study, and research.
- A Master's degree relevant to the proposed field of study
- Postgraduate Diploma

- A cumulative weighted average of at least 65% in each of the final two years (i.e. 60 credit units) of the undergraduate program.
