Program Information

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Grades below C- for prerequisite courses are not acceptable
  • Required Courses (for students who hold a baccalaureate degree)
    • General Biology with lab (4 credits)
    • Microbiology with lab (4 credits)
    • Human Anatomy or Physiology with lab (4 credits)
    • Calculus (3 credits)
    • Statistics (3 credits)
    • General Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • General Physics with labs (8 credits)
  • For students who do not have a baccalaureate degree, they must also fulfill the general education requirements:

  • Preferred composite rank: 70th percentile and above
  • Average composite rank: 80-85th percentile
  • Scores no older than 3 years are preferred; scores older than 5 years will are not considered.

Interview

  • Interviews are scheduled October through March
  • Generally, two people (combination of faculty, staff, students, alumni) will interview each selected applicant
