Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of undergraduate study
  • Grades below C- for prerequisite courses are not acceptable
  • Required Courses (for students who hold a baccalaureate degree)
    • General Biology with lab (4 credits)
    • Microbiology with lab (4 credits)
    • Human Anatomy or Physiology with lab (4 credits)
    • Calculus (3 credits)
    • Statistics (3 credits)
    • General Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • General Physics with labs (8 credits)
  • For students who do not have a baccalaureate degree, they must also fulfill the general education requirements:

    • Humanities and Fine Arts
    • Lifetime fitness
    • U.S. Diversity
    • Global Issues
    • English: Composition and Rhetoric
