Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: A bachelor’s degree is NOT required
  • Required Courses
    • General Biology with lab (4 credits)
    • Microbiology with lab (3 credits)
    • Human Anatomy with lab (3 credits)
    • Human Physiology (3 credits)
    • Calculus (3 credits)
    • Statistics (3 credits)
    • General Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • General Physics with labs (8 credits)
    • Behavioural Sciences (6 credits) – psychology or sociology
    • English composition, advanced (3 credits) or completion of B.A or B.Sc degree
    • Economics (3 credits) – micro or macroeconomics
    • Public Speaking (3 credits)
    • Additional 30 credits in ‘general education’ – non-science, non-mathematics, non-professional, non-physical education
      • Credits in behavioural sciences, English composition, economics, and public speaking can be applied towards the general education requirement
    • Note – AP credits can be used to satisfy any of these requirements
