Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: A bachelor’s degree is NOT required
  • Required Courses
    • For Fall 2013 admission: All prerequisites must be completed by August 19, 2013.
    • Required courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better
    • General Biology with lab (4 credits)
    • Microbiology with lab (3 credits)
    • Human Anatomy with lab (3 credits)
    • Human Physiology (3 credits)
    • Advanced Biology (6 credits)
    • Calculus (3 credits)
    • Statistics (3 credits)
    • General Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry with labs (8 credits)
    • General Physics with labs (4 credit if calculus based and 8 credits if algebra-based)
    • Behavioural Sciences (6 credits) – psychology or sociology
    • English composition, advanced (3 credits) or completion of B.A or B.Sc degree
    • Public Speaking (3 credits)

  • Must fulfill fulfill one of these three minimum requirements:
    • Minimum: 3.00 overall PharmCAS GPA
    • 3.20 over the most recent 60 credits (4.0 scale)
    • 70% composite PCAT
  • Average PharmCAS GPA: 3.52
  • Average Science GPA: 3.45

  • PCAT score with a scored writing subtest is required
