Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
Degree: a minimum of two years of university. 15 credits each semester.
- Required Courses
- Biological Sciences (9 credits)
- Genetics (3 credits)
- Biochemistry (3 credits)
- Statistics (3 credits)
- Humanities and Social Sciences (6 credits)
- Prerequisite courses taken at an institution other than the University of Guelph must be submitted for review and approval prior to the application

GPA and MCAT
- 40:40:20 Calculation
- 40% is the average of courses completed in the last two acceptable full-time semesters
- 40% is the average of 8 prerequisite courses
- 20% is the MCAT score
- Top 200 candidates will be chosen for further selection
- MCAT scores is calculated by taking the numerical scores and converting writing section grades to numerical grades (J=1/11, T=11/11)
- Takes the best MCAT score
