Admission Requirements

General

  • Applicants should find and contact a faculty member to agree to be their supervisor

Academic Requirements

  • M.Sc.
    • Degree: 4-year Honours degree, or equivalent
    • GPA: Minimum 75% average during final 2 years of undergraduate study
  • Ph.D.
    • Degree: Completed a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree
    • GPA: Minimum 80% (A-) average in their graduate-level studies
  • Applicants who do not meet the minimum admission average or do not hold the appropriate degree must complete additional courses to be considered

  • Transcripts: All post-secondary education (University level) transcripts (including incomplete studies/programs, transfer courses, letter of permission and exchanges)
  • Minimum 2 academic references (identify on application)
  • Application fee of ~$110
  • Proof of English Proficiency: If your first language is not English, you will be required to submit the results of a standardized language test
