Program Information
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- 6 years in length
- The first two years (pre-pharmacy) may be completed at any accredited institution of higher education.
- The last four years (nine semesters) are in the professional program and must be in residence at the College of Pharmacy.
Admission Requirements

- Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study in an accredited university
- Required Courses:
- English: 1 year
- Calculus: 1 semester
- General Biology (with lab): 1 year
- General Chemistry (with lab): 1 year
- Organic Chemistry (with lab): 1 year
- Statistics: 1 semester
- Public Speaking: 1 semester
- Micro-or-Macro-Economics: 1 semester
- Political Science class regarding American government: 1 semester
- American History: 1 semester

GPA
- There is no predetermined minimum GPA which must be achieved to be considered for admission.
PCAT
- The PCAT is required for all applicants with no exceptions.
- An applicant’s highest composite score on the PCAT is utilized in the admissions process.
- No minimum composite score is required to be considered for admission, but applicants must achieve a minimum score (the 30th percentile) in each of 5 content areas covered by the PCAT (i.e., verbal ability, reading comprehension, biology, chemistry, and quantitative ability).
