Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Minimum of 92 quarter units (equivalent to 62 semester units)
- Required Courses
- Biology (3 quarter units with lab in at least one term)
- General chemistry (3 quarter units all with lab)
- Organic chemistry (3 quarter units all with lab)
- Mammalian physiology (4 quarter units)
- Physics (1 lab in electricity and magnetism)
- Calculus (2 courses)
- English composition (2 courses)
- Electives in the humanities and/or social sciences (28 quarter units), which must include:
- Economics (1 course)
- Public speaking or debate (1 course)
- Psychology, sociology, or cultural anthropology (1 course)
