Admission Requirements
General Notes
- Minimum of 92 quarter units or 62 semester units of university study required for admission
- Four year program leading to a PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy)
- 3 pathways of study available
- Pharmaceutical Care
- Pharmaceutical Heath Policy and Management
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Students may apply to enter the PharmD-MPH (Master of Public Health) program at UC-Berkley in their 4th year

Criteria
Required classes
- 12 quarter units are required in each of the following:
- General chemistry (1 year lecture + lab)
- *Organic chemistry (1 year lecture + lab)
- Biology (1 lab)
- 4 quarter units in physiology
- 8 quarter units in physics (must include lab in electricity/magnetism)
- 8 quarter units in mathematics (must include 2 calculus courses)
- 8 quarter units in English (must include 2 college level composition courses)
- 28 quarter units in humanities electives – must include:
- 1 course in economics
- 1 course in public speaking / debate
- 1 course in psychology / sociology / cultural anthropology
