    • Degree: Bachelor's Degree (BSc.) in science
  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
    • Degree: Master's degree (MSc.) in a related field

  • Required for foreign students
    • 85th percentile or higher; competitive GRE score is usually 90th percentile or higher

GPA

  • Minimum: 3.3 (4.0 scale)
  • Successful candidates generally have a GPA well over minimum requirement

Tuition 2012-2013

  • MSc and PhD
    • Canadian student - $5,538.12
    • International student - $12,570.24
  • Graduate students are guaranteed an annual student stipend of $20,000 for M.Sc. students and $22,000 for Ph.D. students
  • University of Calgary currently reimburses foreign graduate students in full for the differential in tuition payments
