Course and Degree Requirements

Non-UBC applicants without these specific UBC courses need:

  • First-year Biology with labs (2 semesters)
  • First-year Chemistry with labs (2 semesters)
  • First-year university English (2 semesters for which UBC gives transfer credit)
  • First-year Calculus (2 semesters)
  • Cell Biology or university Genetics (1 semester)
  • Organic Chemistry with labs (1 semester)
  • Biochemistry (1 semester)
  • Microbiology (1 semester)
  • Humanities or Social Science (2 semesters)
