Admission Requirements

General

Academic Requirements

  • Four year undergraduate degree in the biological sciences.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.3 (B+ average).

Financial Requirements

  • Students are encouraged to apply for graduate research assistantships and teaching assistantships, scholarships and other means of external funding.

  • Copy of official transcript
  • Three recommendation letters
  • TOEFL scores if English is not your first language (minimum score of 600 or 250 on the computer version)
  • Short summary of research interests and goals

Other

  • If admitted to the MSc program, students have the opportunity to transfer to the PhD program after one year.
  • Applicants should contact faculty members they are interested in working with.
