Admission Requirements
General
- Apply online at http://www.ualberta.ca/gradstudies/apply
- Course and thesis based Masters programs (M.Ed.) as well as PhD programs.
Academic Requirements
- Four year university degree.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in last 2 years
- GRE is not required.
Financial Requirements
- Living costs are estimated around ~10,000$ (on the website).

- CV/resume
- Statement of intent: briefly summarize research interests, goals, why you want to go to grad school and any personal statements.
- Supplementary app required for counseling psychology and professional school psychology (available on the website).
- Transcript
- 3 reference letters
Other
- Proof of fluency in English may be required if it is not your first language
- Master’s programs are offered in education/school psychology, school counseling, teaching English as a second language, counseling psychology, special education, and measurement/evaluation and cognition.
