Admission Requirements

General

Academic Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in chemistry.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 (or B avg, around 75%).

Financial Requirements

  • All those who attend graduate program receive a minimum stipend of $23,268 (tuition and other fees are deducted directly from this).
    • This is guaranteed for 3 years (MSc students) or 5 years (PhD students).
  • Full time TAs receive a scholarship of $250 per term.

Documents

  • Application fee is paid for by Dept of Chemistry!
  • Application form
  • 3 recommendation letters (sent directly to the university)
  • Resume/CV
  • Two copies of transcript

Other

  • International applicants may be required to submit test of profiency in English.
  • Minimum TOEFL score of 570 (paper) or 230 (computer).
