- Master of Science (MSc.)
- Degree: Bachelor's Degree (BSc.) in engineering
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
- Degree: Master's degree (MSc.) in a related field

- Minimum: 3.3 or higher on a 4 point scale for the most recent two years of full-time study
- Applies to both Ph.D and MSc.

Application Process
- Choose a research area and professor(s).
- Contact potential supervising research professor(s).
- Submit a preliminary application form (including unofficial transcripts of all post secondary education, one to two page letter listing potential research professors and qualifications to enter related area(s) of research, and if appropriate, results of English-language examinations)
- If preliminary application is approved, submit a formal application and pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.
- Submit supporting documents.
