General

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year program.
  • Minimum GPA (in last 2 years) of 3.3 or a B+ avg (78%).
  • GRE preferred but is not a requirement.
  • Note that for department funding the minimum GPA is slightly higher, i.e. as quoted b y the website last year’s minimum for department funding was 3.5.

Financial Requirements

  • For Canadian students, tuition is $4646.24.
  • For international students, tuition is $8216.6
  • Approximate Living expense (for 12 months):
    • Shared accomadation: $12 824-$16 424
    • Not shared: $16 424-$21 224

  • Applicants may have to take a test of profiency in English if it is not their first language (ie. TOEFL exam).

Deadlines

  • For September entry, application deadline is March 1st (to be considered among Graduate Teaching Assistantships).
  • For those who don’t need GTA funding, there is no deadline.
