Program Information

  • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
  • 4 year program
  • Language of instruction is French
  • Open only to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
    • 3 places are reserved for Francophone students of New Brunswick, 2 for Ontario and 1 for Nova Scotia
    • Due to prioritization of applicants, non-Quebec applicants who are not part of the above quota have little chance of being admitted
  • Annual applications: more than 1750
  • Class size: 150

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Applicants must have completed one of the following prior to starting the program:
    • DEC in Sciences, Letters and Arts
    • DEC in Natural Sciences with the following courses:
      • Biologie 401
      • Chimie 202
    • Any DEC, having completed:
      • Mathematiques 103 and 203
      • Physique 101, 201 and 301
      • Chimie 101, 201, and 202
      • Biologie 301, 401
  • For applicants applying from outside Quebec:
    • Ontario students must complete at least one year of university study in a heath-science related field
    • DSS from Université de Moncton is considered equivalent to DEC

  • In order to proceed to the second selection step, applicant must have a Cote de Rendement Laval of at least 28,0
  • Both CÉGEP and university courses considered
    • Weighting depends on number of university courses completed

  • Not required

Supporting Documents

  • Personality test
  • Autobiographical questionnaire
  • 3 recommendation letters
  • Non-francophone students must complete the Test de Français International (TFI)

  • March 1st - Deadline to submit application
