Admission Requirements
General
- Apply online at http://www2.ulaval.ca/en/future-students/admission.html
- Students are only admitted to the program once they secure a position with a supervisor in writing.
- The department is fluent in English, so knowledge of the French language is not a requirement for admission
Academic Requirements
- cGPA: minimum 2.7 out of 4.33 (or equivalent)
- A B.Sc. from a recognized university in biology, health sciences, or a closely related field.
Financial Requirements
- Students must be supported a minimum of $12,000.
Supporting Documents
- CV
- Personal essay
- 3 letters of recommendation
- Outline of research project
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of transcript (cumulative)
- Application fee ($75)
- For non-Canadian applicants living in Canada: Original diploma(s) obtained, certified copy of the Quebec acceptance certificate, certified (by judge or notary) copy of Canadian immigration papers
Other
- The department is fluent in English, therefore fluency in French is not absolutely necessary for success in the program. The thesis may be written in English.
Deadlines 2012-2013
- For September entry: February 1.
- For January entry: November 1 for Canadian students, September 1 for international students.
- For summer entry: February 1 for Canadian students, January 15 for international students.
