Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Required Courses:
    • Parametric and nonparametric statistics
  • Recommended Courses:
    • Describing distribution graphically and quantitatively (e.g. mean, median, standard deviation)
    • Statistical inference (e.g. calculating test statistics, p-values, alpha value)
    • Inferential tests (e.g. t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square)
    • Linear regression and correlation
  • Master's: 3.0 GPA on SFU’s 4.33 scale (B average or 70%)
