  • B.Sc. in Physics or a related field
  • Recommended courses:
    • Quantum mechanics
    • Statistical mechanics
    • Electromagnetic theory


GPA

  • cGPA: 80% (3.0) minimum

  • Recommendation letters - 3 scientists
  • TOEFL - required if applicant's first language is not English; minimum: 570 (paper based), 230 (computer based), or 88 (internet based)
  • GRE Physics subject test - required only if applicant has not obtained a degree from a Canadian university
  • $90 application fee

  • Accept applications from MSc candidates intending to start in Fall and Spring, and from PhDs in Fall, Spring, and Summer. Applications will be accepted at any time, although late applications may miss the intended semester.
