Admission Requirements
General
- Students are asked to fill out a pre application form to help find a supervisor before completing the online application (get it by email at mbb@sfu.ca)
- Once a prospective supervisor is found, you may apply for the program
Academic Requirements
- B.Sc. in related field
- cGPA of 3.0/4.33
Financial Requirements
- Students are expected to maintain sufficient financial support; several assistantships, fellowships and scholarships are made available
- Master’s students must receive at minimum $16,500 per year

- Three reference letters, two academic
- Resume
- Statement of Research Interests (300 words or less)
- CV
- GRE scores (recommended)
- $75 application fee
Other
- International students must submit language test scores
Deadlines
- Canadian applicants should apply at least 3 months before the start of the semester
- Entrance scholarship applicants must apply by March 15th; Graduate fellowships by April 15th
