Program Information
- Master’s Program – a minimum of 12 semester hours of courses
- You must have a supervisor that is willing to accept you
- at least four courses, either from Earth Sciences graduate course offerings or from related graduate course offerings in other departments.
- may include up to 6 credit hours of special topics or directed studies courses.
- must complete and successfully defend a written research thesis for completion of the degree
- Doctor’s Program - a minimum of 15 semester hours of courses
- must complete Oral Candidacy Examination
- can transfer from MSc to PhD
