Most information on the site is geared towards current McGill students; thus, most academic terminology (e.g. GPA, courses) will be expressed using McGill equivalents.

  • On this site, a "course" refers to a course which spans one semester. This is the equivalent to a "half-course" in other universities; a "full course" (at those universities) is a course which spans two semesters.
  • A McGill degree is the same as an Ontario Honours degree.
